Superbad was a film about the events two kids encounter while trying to get alcohol for girls. Seth and Evan were two unpopular high school guys who just wanted to impress some girls. Seth could only think about the sex at the end of the journey and wouldn't let anything stop him. Evan wanted the girl and for Seth to calm down.
The momentum of the story was relatively slow to start. The guys went to school and discovered the party and planned the night. Speed started to build once they tried to buy alcohol. Their friend Fogell got punched in a robbery and the Seth gets hit buy a car. Momentum was at its fastest after Seth and Evan get in the driver's car to go to a party, and Evan gets high, Seth fills detergent jugs with beer and dances with another guys girlfriend which starts a large fight and the cops show up with Fogell in the cop car because they befriended him at the liquor store and then the three all run from the police. The momentum slows when they get to the party they bought the booze for. It rises a little bit when the Seth gets slapped, Evan almost sleeps with a drunk girl, and Fogell gets laid. Then it raises more when the cops come to this party.
The movie really makes fun on the sex drive of young men. Its not even just with the action of Evan and Seth. One of the girls they pursued said that She has urges too but in 30 years she still won't have ever been as horny as teenage guys. There is also a hint of "Be yourself". Fogell wasn't as concerned with the ladies as the other too. He was also the most genuine guy. The only thing fake about him was his ID. And he was the only guy to get laid.
